Aqura Technologies has been awarded the Gold Disruptor Award at the ACS Digital Disruptors Awards 2019, in the category ‘Best New Startup Platform’ for our Autonomous Rapid Communications (ARC) platform.
Presented at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 December 2019, the ACS Digital Disruptors Awards showcases the leadership, creativity and innovation of Australia’s ICT sector. These national awards recognise Australia’s world-leading individuals, teams and organisations who are shaping the world of digital disruption and celebrating their skills in transforming and generating innovative products and services for the digital consumer.
Aqura’s ARC solution solves the problem of accessing reliable communications in remote areas where communications doesn’t exist. This is achieved by integrating an autonomous LTE Network for local access with a self-acquiring satellite communications dish for back to site connectivity, providing coverage of around 5km to staff, devices and equipment users in locations that are otherwise inaccessible for communications. The platform is rapidly deployed and an on-board compute platform adds to the ARC solution’s benefits to clients by allowing local and immediate processing of data using the customer’s own software.
Our ARC platform has previously been awarded the 2019 WAITTA INCITE Award for ‘Most Effective Infrastructure Solution’. We are honoured to have our solution be recognised on a national scale.
