Shell Awards Private LTE Network Contract to Aqura Technologies
Aqura Technologies has been awarded a $1.3 million contract by Shell to undertake the commissioning and validation of a new Private LTE network solution. The contract to support Shell’s Australian operations also involves the provision of ongoing multi-year support via a 3-year managed services agreement, with a further two-year option.
Aqura Technologies CEO, Travis Young, said he was pleased to be able to support Shell for such an important part of their operation.

“This contract demonstrates Aqura Technologies’ in-house technical expertise and unique skillset which has underpinned the construction, deployment and ongoing management of leading edge, high performance Private 4G LTE networks across a range of operating environments throughout Australia for our blue-chip client base.”
The award of this contract with Shell brings the value of total new contracts secured by the Aqura Technologies team to $17.8 million throughout the course of the first 5 months of FY21.
The current work in hand pipeline of secured contracts involves a diverse mix of project execution opportunities, managed services agreements and as-a-service annuity style contracts across the spectrum of Aqura’s product suite including Industrial Wireless (Private 4G / 5G LTE Networks), Content Access Network solutions and IoT applications along with the continued delivery of Aqura’s Unified Communications service offering.
