About the opportunity

Reporting to the PMO Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to support effective project delivery by developing and tracking project execution schedules and resource forecasting.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain detailed schedules for project execution and/or proposals
  • Monitor and update project schedules, milestones and overall completion timetables
  • Monitor project progress with project managers, forecast completion, identify risks and delays, escalating where required and suggesting strategies for schedule recovery
  • Assist Project Managers in compiling project plans and execution schedules
  • Assist with the set-up and management of the project costs, budgets, claims and forecasts
  • Support the Project Managers in EOT’s & Performance Reports
  • Prepare status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
  • Ensure consistency of information in reporting tools and schedule aligns to site roster, resource plan, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain portfolio level schedule overview Gantt highlighting deviations from baseline

About you

To be successful, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Significant scheduling experience in an operational, project delivery environment working closely with Project Managers
  • Expert MS Project user level
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities.
  • Experience with Telecommunications, Information Technology and/or engineering disciplines is desired
